I have recently discovered that Bozeman's downtown always (yes, always) has something going on. Downtown isn't just for the weekend anymore! For those just arriving to Bozeman (or maybe those looking to shake things up a bit), I've created this list of ongoing events to keep you busy every day of the week.

Monday

  • White Dog Brewery: Live Music from 5:30-7:30 pm. And they have a beer special every day. $3 for a local draft? Yes, please!

  • Bacchus Pub: Trivia from 8-10pm.

  • Eagles Club: Free pool all day as well as Pinochle at 12 pm.

Tuesday

  • Bogert Park: Farmer's and Craft Market from 5-8pm through September 27th. The Emerson hosts the winter market beginning in October.

  • Eagles Club: Cribbage. Registration begins at 6 pm and play at 6:30 pm.

  • Bozeman Spirits: Live music from 5:30-8pm. And $6 Mules!

  • Bacchus Pub: Live music from 8-10pm.

  • Rocking R: Bingo starts at 7 pm, but get there a half hour early to grab your game boards! Boards are $10 for 3 boards, $15 for 6 or $20 for 12. For those of age, you get a free drink with your boards. Every first Tuesday of the month is Bonus Bingo where you can win up to $800! But even a regular night has pots around $400.

  • Pub 317: Live Old Time Bluegrass music from 7:30-11pm.

  • Colonel Blacks: Karaoke at 9 pm.

Wednesday

If you like trivia, Wednesday is your day! Several bars in town offer this fun (free!) past time, but each are a little different. Check out this article by the Bozeman Daily Chronicle for a bit on their formats. Make sure to show up a little early for each to make sure you get a seat and get ready for some great prizes and drink specials!

Don't worry, there are options for the more creatively inclined, too.

Thursday

Friday

  • Children's Museum is free with $1 pizza slices from 5-8pm.

  • Art Walk: Every second Friday of the month starting at 6 pm. Downtown stores and art galleries are open late for your perusal. For a full list of participating galleries, check Downtown Bozeman's site.

  • Eagles Club: Bingo with Burgers from 5:30-7:30 pm. Can't beat a classic game and a tasty dinner! Want to start earlier? They have Pinochle games at 12 pm.

Downtown Bozeman's website has a running list of events from music to art to dance lessons to book signings. Check back often to see what's new!

The Filling Station, Molly Brown and Eagles often have live music, though they are not on a regular schedule.

Townshend's Teahouse hosts dance nights (including free lessons), open mic poetry and live music. They post dates and times on their Facebook page

And we can't forget about The Ellen Theatre. While the Ellen only puts on two astounding local plays a year (one in winter and one in summer), it always has concerts, movies and all forms of talent on its stage. Keep updated by signing up for their newsletter or simply visiting their website

It's impossible to create an exhaustive list of all our downtown has to offer, but what do you recommend? Or are you looking for something you don't see here? Let us know in the comments!
